The CAS Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Science (CEMPS) in Shanghai has upgraded its nitrogen analysis capabilities with Elementar’s rapid N exceed® in order to deliver faster, more efficient analysis of maize samples.
The lab’s Maize Endosperm Development and Genetic Improvement Group carries out more than 20,000 analyses per year using the rapid N exceed® nitrogen and protein analyzer, and has seen significant benefits thanks to the instrument’s automated processes, high throughput and lack of any complex sample pretreatment requirements.
